Job description

THRIVE Program Assistant (A): • Greet and welcome students, faculty, and staff at the front desk • Assist in managing the THRIVE Department calendar • Initiate, receive, and respond to email and phone correspondence • Support administrative duties such as data entry, maintenance of supplies, and as-needed • Maintain an organized and clean shared space for all • Support in Social Media posts and engaging on social media platforms • Support for events and programming upon request • Advocate for diversity, equity, and inclusion through body language and demeanor THRIVE Program Assistant (B/Program Support): • Assist the THRIVE Program Managers with specific projects like the Speakers Series, • Social gatherings, etc. • Support for events and programming upon request • Support THRIVE Program Managers with some administrative duties such as data entry, • maintenance of supplies, and as-needed • Advocate for diversity, equity, and inclusion through body language and demeanor Qualifications • Must be currently enrolled at Augsburg University • Must be tech savvy (or willing to learn) in Google Suites, Canva.com, Microsoft Office • Willingness to engage and interact with students, faculty, and staff • Analyze and present quality over quantity in assigned tasks and possible office needs • Must maintain the privacy of sensitive student information, as required by federal FERPA • law • Must exhibit effective communication and problem-solving skills • Ability to follow directions and execute tasks in a timely manner All student applicants must attach the following for consideration: • Resume • Cover Letter (optional) Augsburg University is an Equal Opportunity employer.  We are committed to providing equal employment opportunity to all applicants and employees regardless of their race, creed, color, religion, gender, age, national origin, disability, military service, protected veteran status, genetic information, sexual orientation, gender identity, transgender status, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state, or local law.
