Job description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and professional Plumbing & Fire Fighting Inspector to join our team in Kuwait. In this critical role, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive inspections of plumbing and fire protection systems to ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and regulations. You will play a vital role in safeguarding public safety and maintaining the integrity of building infrastructure across our jurisdiction.
• Conduct thorough inspections of plumbing systems, including water supply lines, drainage systems, fixtures, and related components to verify compliance with plumbing codes and standards
• Inspect fire protection systems, including sprinkler systems, fire alarms, emergency exits, and fire suppression equipment to ensure they meet fire safety regulations
• Analyze inspection findings and identify code violations, safety hazards, or deficiencies that require corrective action
• Prepare detailed and accurate inspection reports documenting findings, violations, and recommendations for remediation
• Communicate inspection results to property owners, contractors, and facility managers in a professional and clear manner
• Maintain organized records of all inspections, test results, and compliance documentation
• Collaborate with contractors, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely resolution of identified issues
• Stay current with updates to plumbing and fire safety codes, regulations, and industry best practices
• Testify in legal proceedings or administrative hearings when necessary regarding inspection findings
• Perform follow-up inspections to verify that violations have been corrected and systems are operating safely
• Comprehensive knowledge of plumbing codes, standards, and best practices
• Comprehensive knowledge of fire safety codes, regulations, and fire protection systems
• Proven experience conducting plumbing and/or fire safety inspections
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in technical documentation and report writing
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple inspections efficiently
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Familiarity with inspection software and digital documentation tools
• Knowledge of local Kuwait building codes and regulations
• Professional certification in plumbing inspection or fire safety inspection (preferred)
• Experience with fire protection systems, including sprinkler systems and alarm systems (preferred)
