Reports To:  Director of Franchise Operations Travel:  Up to 30% Role Type:  Full-time, Exempt Span of Control:  Up to 30 assigned franchise offices Role Identity The Franchise Business Coach is the primary trusted advisor to an assigned group of Archadeck franchisees. The FBC exists to help franchisees build profitable businesses aligned with their personal and professional vision, while advancing adoption of the Archadeck system across the network. This is a coaching role. Compliance and financial outcomes are consequences of effective coaching, not substitutes for it. The FBC succeeds when franchisees choose to follow their coach because they trust them and see measurable results in their business. How Success Is Measured Accountability is structured across three layers, reflecting the reality that franchisees are independent business owners and outcomes are a shared result. • Influence. Quality of coaching relationships, franchisee trust, and perceived helpfulness, assessed through direct feedback and periodic network input. • Activity and Adoption. Coaching cadence completion, documented franchisee vision plans, field visit completion, and franchisee adoption rates of brand programs including the Archadeck sales process, marketing initiatives, and operational standards. • Outcome. Same store sales growth, profitability trends, and franchisee retention across the assigned group, evaluated in aggregate rather than per franchisee. Core Responsibilities Coaching and Relationship Management • Build and maintain high trust coaching relationships with up to 30 franchisees • Conduct monthly documented performance reviews with each franchisee, covering KPI review, action plan progress, and goals for the next period • Facilitate the development and ongoing refinement of each franchisee's personal business vision plan • Serve as a thinking partner to franchisees navigating strategic, operational, and financial decisions Program Adoption and System Integration • Drive franchisee adoption of Archadeck's sales process, marketing standards, operational procedures, and technology platforms • Deliver coaching moments with franchisees and their staff on topics across all operational processes, bringing other Support Team members into the conversations as neede • Support new franchisees during onboarding and ramp up, including follow up after initial training in Richmond • Interpret system data and benchmarks for each franchisee, translating numbers into clear, actionable next steps • Surface field themes, roadblocks, and opportunities to the Director of Franchise Operations and Brand President Cross Functional Collaboration • Partner with marketing, design and pricing, drafting, and production teams to coordinate support for franchisees • Advocate for franchisees within the Archadeck corporate structure, balancing franchisee needs with brand standards • Maintain documentation discipline in the CRM to ensure leadership visibility and continuity of support • Uphold ethical standards and protect Archadeck's legal position in all franchisee interactions Network Engagement and Community • Support franchisee engagement with Archadeck's Cohort program, the stage based peer group structure for shared learning and accountability • Contribute to Cohort programming as a subject matter resource and coaching partner, with potential to co facilitate Cohorts over time • Foster cross franchisee best practice transfer and community within the assigned group • Participate in system wide events including annual conferences, regional meetings, and new franchisee training Required Qualifications • 5+ years of experience as an operator, owner, consultant, or senior leader in a project based B2C business such as home remodeling, home services, residential construction, or a comparable industry. • Demonstrated ability to coach, advise, and influence independent business owners without direct authority • Strong financial literacy, including P&L analysis, pricing, and unit economics • Proven emotional intelligence, including listening, conflict navigation, and the capacity to deliver hard feedback while preserving relationship trust • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Comfort with CRM tools, KPI dashboards, and data driven coaching • Willingness and ability to travel up to 30 percent of the time • Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent operating experience considered in lieu of a degree Preferred Qualifications • Prior franchise network experience as a franchisee, field coach, or corporate operations role in a multi unit brand • Experience designing or delivering training for business owners or multi unit teams • Familiarity with consultative in home sales processes in residential construction or remodeling Compensation Range: The estimated compensation range for this position is a base salary of $90,000 to $100,000 annually. Actual compensation for the position is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to years of experience, skills, qualifications, and geographic location.
