Public Area Attendant

Job description

As a Public Area Attendant, you will maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the resort's public areas, including lobbies, restrooms, hallways, offices, and other guest spaces. Your attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness help create an outstanding first impression and enhance the overall guest experience. What You'll Do as a Public Area Attendant: • Clean, disinfect, and maintain public restrooms throughout the resort. • Restock restroom supplies, including paper products, soap, and other amenities. • Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain floors throughout public areas. • Clean windows, mirrors, glass surfaces, and other high-touch areas. • Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste in designated collection areas. • Clean and maintain public spaces, offices, lobby areas, and sales and marketing offices. • Monitor janitorial supplies and replenish stock as needed. • Report maintenance concerns and safety hazards promptly to the appropriate department. • Perform other duties as assigned to support resort operations and guest satisfaction. What You Will Bring as a Public Area Attendant: • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred. • Previous housekeeping, custodial, janitorial, or public area cleaning experience preferred. • Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety. • Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision. • Positive attitude with excellent customer service and teamwork skills. Requirements: • Ability to regularly lift, push, pull, and move up to 35 pounds. • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive cleaning tasks throughout the shift. • Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and flexible schedules as needed. • Required to pass a background check, drug test, and provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States. • Must uphold Westgate Resorts' standards of professionalism, integrity, cleanliness, and guest service.
