TECHNICAL BUSINESS ANALYST - Cobol, DB2 Experience is required

Experience or Knowledge • Three years of experience in business process analysis, application implementations and training, project coordination/management and business-related experience. • Agile development practices such as continuous integration/continuous delivery, backlog refinement, and retrospectives. • Business analyst processes such as those outlined and used in the International Institute of Business Analysis BABOK guide. • Project coordination/management methodology, standards, and best practices. • Procedures and methods for testing business functions within computer systems. • Proficient with Microsoft Office Tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). • Software Development Life Cycle and development concepts. • Basic understanding of the COBOL coding language and/or AI tools in the IBM i server environment • SQL Server and/or DB2 database experience. Abilities • Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills. • Facilitate working meetings, elicit and solicit information, and absorb the information being communicated; facilitate a shared understanding of the problem, possible solutions, and scope of the project in its entirety; facilitate solutions to technical challenges among multiple teams when they involve negotiation between multiple business and technical stakeholders. • Apply critical thinking skills to determine the appropriateness of requests, with periodic reviews of business procedures to clarify or change a business process. Use the knowledge gained in the daily operational procedures as input to business process and procedure documentation. • Prioritize across multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. • Present technical and non-technical information to all stakeholder groups. • Multi-task in a fast-paced environment while remaining focused on service to the client.
