Role Overview: As a Technical Marketing Engineer/Manager at SK Hynix, you will serve as the primary technical liaison for customers, partners, and internal departments. You will directly engage with partners and customers to maintain roadmap alignment for Future Memory Products, manage program changes, and track qualification status. Additionally, you will guide customers and partners in aligning their projects with our product life cycles, cost competitiveness, and engineering sample availability. Key Responsibilities: • Collaborate with SoC and OEM partners on Advanced Memory Products (including, but not limited to, Custom HBM and 3D stacked DRAM) and develop technical collateral to secure design wins and promote new products for qualification. • Gather market intelligence on industry and application technology trends, strategically integrating insights into product roadmaps to secure design wins and maintain industry leadership. • Work cross-functionally to ensure timely resolution of customer requirements and lead technical meetings to identify optimized solutions from customer engagements. • Develop and manage relationships with manufacturing facilities, addressing technical and quality issues during the enabling and evaluation phases of new platforms. • Provide technical leadership and support to sales teams and customers by developing technical information and company insights for sales presentations. • Research, analyze, and recommend optimized features for future product specifications, determining optimal system configurations for target applications. • Manage product samples and track progress by identifying and classifying partner sample requests, entering them into the company database, and coordinating expedited shipments based on validation and qualification urgency. • Document and report technical marketing activity status, progress, and results to peers and management. • Travel required (10-30%) Qualifications: • BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field with relevant experience. • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience. • Knowledge of the Memory industry and DRAM products, with ability to identify technical trends, market dynamics, and application ecosystems. • DRAM knowledge at device and system level, including: DRAM design, testing, system validation, or application engineering experience. • Excellent communication, collaboration, coaching, negotiation, and presentation skills. • Strong knowledge of consumer electronics architecture, ecosystems, and PC/Server/Mobile/IoT platform architectures preferred. • Self-motivated, responsible, and proactive with the ability to collaborate across multiple disciplines, including executive-level interactions. • Bilingual Proficiency in Korean and English is a plus.
