Job Description Technical Operator • Permanent, full-time role with competitive remuneration and benefits • Location: (Onsite) Murarrie, QLD, Australia • Career growth: Expand your expertise in a growing, successful industry • Professional development: Gain valuable experience in a dynamic, evolving role What You Will Do Responsibilities include, however not limited to: • Senior assembly worker in small production team fabricating electronic RFID readers • Use of hand tools, power tools and CNC machines to process parts and material • Lifting and handling material, assemblies and finished products • Trained in operation and upkeep of all machinery and manual handling equipment • Following work instructions accurately • Complete all production reports and other documentation ensuring good communication and record keeping practices • Maintain good quality control of products by careful interpretation of job sheet details, assembly and inspection instructions • Promptly raise all machine issues, malfunctions, or product quality concerns with your shift supervisor or Team Leader • Ensuring a high level of tidiness and organization is maintained • Assisting in training, supporting and advising junior staff • Knowledge of Senior Tech Operator skills and undertaking those supervisory tasks temporarily when required to support the shift • Be proactive in site safety by promptly informing through EH&S Officers and representatives of any hazards, risks, or incidents • Remain informed on all company procedures, policies, and other information by participating in shift toolbox meetings and completing policy training • Ensure all work is performed in accordance with the Quality and Environmental Health & Safety procedures and policies • Participate in routine stock takes • Carry out other assignments as requested by your supervisor or Team Leader What You Must have • Demonstrated ability for good time management, attention to detail and collaborative mindset • Good verbal and written communication skills • Good organizational skills • Effective operation of limited production tasks, plant, and equipment • Ability to demonstrate emotional intelligence, empathy, resilience and change agility • Ability to collaborate with cross functional teams, pro-actively contribute, and demonstrate inclusive behaviours • Demonstrate ethics and integrity, in line with company policy, and ensure responsible use of company assets particularly related to operation of plant and equipment What You Can Expect • Work autonomously whilst being supported, encouraged and being part of a trusted Global Leading Animal Health organisation • Exposure to upskill and develop in your role • Flexibility and opening doors to other opportunities and skillsets • Joining a collaborative team of likeminded individuals We are proud to be a company that embraces the value of bringing talented and committed people together.
