We’re seeking a part-time Accounting Co-Op (10-15 hrs per week) to join our business in North America during the Spring of 2027. These hours could increase for Summer 2027 to full time. You will provide Accounting support for North America operations. In this role, you will assist with the close process and various analyses, and ensure all reporting deadlines are met while collaboratively working with the Accounting Team and other Functions. You will also work on projects that support Accounting’s continuous efforts to standardize and streamline processes.
Role Details & Requirements:
• Rotation Structure & Locations: Located in our Mentor, Ohio office.
• Time Commitment / Program Duration: Part-time (10-15 hrs per week) during Spring of 2027, with potential to increase to full time for Summer 2027.
Key Responsibilities:
• Participate in monthly close process, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and any analysis associated with those activities
• Support business unit and accounting managers/analysts on various analyses
• Complete projects directly linked to the Accounting Team efficiency initiatives
• Provide Accounting support for North America operations while collaboratively working with the Accounting Team and other Functions
• Assist with the close process and various analyses to ensure all reporting deadlines are met

What you will need to bring to the program:
Education
• Pursuing a BS in Accounting or Business or related field required.
Preferred Experience
• Previous internship/co-op experience or relevant work experience (a plus).
• Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills, and experience in building financial models (a plus).
• Experience via student organizations, such as Beta Alpha Psi, Association of Latino Professionals of America, Multicultural Business Association, Accounting Association, American Accounting Association, etc.
Requirements:
• Must have reliable transportation to and from work
• Sponsorship is not available now or in the future
• Must be willing to join during at least two semesters, including one non-summer term
Travel
• Ability to travel 10 - 20 percent of the time
The hourly rate for this position is $22.00 - $ 27.00/hour based on where you are at academically.
The hourly rate above represents what Avery Dennison reasonably expects to pay for this position as of the date of this posting.
