Dealership Salesperson - North Central Ford

Job description

Our Sales Professionals are responsible for selling vehicles and meeting dealership gross profit, volume, and customer satisfaction standards. Duties and Responsibilities: • Determine each customer's vehicle needs by asking questions and listening, then demonstrate vehicles including test drives. • Deliver vehicles to customers, ensuring they understand operating features, warranty, and paperwork to establish customer loyalty. • Establish personal income goals consistent with dealership productivity standards and develop a strategy to achieve them. • Maintain prospect development and owner follow-up systems to encourage repeat and referral business. • Stay current with incoming inventory, features, accessories, product terminology, and technological changes in the automotive industry. • Understand federal, state, and local laws governing retail auto sales, including equity, values, and depreciation concepts. • Coordinate with the service department and body shop to ensure vehicle reconditioning meets expectations and timelines. • Attend sales meetings, training sessions, and manufacturer programs offered by the dealership. • Report to the Sales Manager regarding objectives, activities, and performance analyses. • Follow all company safety policies and procedures, and immediately report any accidents to management. Preferred: • At least 1-5 years of Sales dealership, and/or customer facing Sales experience. • Ford Brand or domestic experience a plus. • Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information. • Excellent communication and customer service skills. • Ability to sell a minimum quota according to dealership standards. Required: • All applicants must be authorized to work in the USA. • Valid driver's license and clean driving record. • All applicants must be able to demonstrate ability to pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, MVR, drug test, credit report, and valid driver's license.
