• Prepare routine employment letters and other HR documentation using approved templates and obtain the required review and approvals.
• Coordinate accurate and timely employee information for Payroll, Benefits, and other People teams, following agreed responsibilities and deadlines.
• Respond to routine employee and manager queries on HR processes and documentation, routing specialist or sensitive questions to the appropriate team.
• Prioritize requests and projects against agreed service expectations, maintain clear delivery plans, and communicate progress, dependencies, and next steps.
Support Local Administrative Compliance and Controls
• Support the Cairo Business Partner in maintaining HR documentation and administrative controls aligned with company policies and applicable local requirements.
• Maintain compliance checklists and calendars, and coordinate documentation for required local administrative processes, submissions, or renewals within assigned scope.
• Prepare records and supporting evidence for internal reviews, audits, and authorized external requests, coordinating review and approval before release.
• Identify missing approvals, incomplete records, overdue actions, and process exceptions; raise concerns promptly and track agreed corrective actions to completion.
• Apply guidance from the Cairo Business Partner, Legal/Compliance, and relevant People specialists when requirements or processes change.
Produce HR Reports and Improve Processes
• Prepare recurring and ad hoc reports on employee data, file completeness, lifecycle activity, outstanding requests, and compliance actions.
• Validate report inputs, investigate discrepancies, and present findings clearly, with support where needed.
• Highlight recurring documentation gaps, service delays, and data quality issues, explaining their impact and recommending practical improvements.
• Improve checklists, trackers, templates, and workflows to reduce errors, rework, and manual effort.
• Take ownership of assigned process improvement activities, coordinating stakeholders and reporting progress and outcomes.
Build Effective Stakeholder Relationships
• Build productive working relationships with employees, managers, the Cairo Business Partner, and colleagues across the People Team.
• Understand the business context relevant to your work and anticipate how operational tasks affect employees and other teams.
• Coordinate across teams to resolve dependencies, clarify ownership, and support timely delivery.
• Escalate employee relations concerns promptly to the Cairo Business Partner and Employee Relations team, and provide administrative support under their direction.
Contribute to the People Team and Agoda Culture
• Participate in team meetings, share operational updates, and contribute thoughtful suggestions and feedback.
• Support local employee engagement activities and People Team events within the scope of the role.
• Share process knowledge and provide occasional guidance to junior colleagues where appropriate.
• Proactively develop your HR knowledge and skills, seek feedback, and take on new challenges.
• Demonstrate Agoda’s values through collaboration, accountability, discretion, and inclusive employee support.
What you’ll Need to Succeed:

• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to identify incomplete records, inconsistencies, and missing approvals.
• Proficiency in Excel or comparable spreadsheet tools for maintaining trackers, reconciling data, and preparing reports.
• Experience using HR information systems and maintaining confidential employee data.
• Practical problem-solving skills and the ability to translate operational data into clear findings and improvement suggestions.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate progress, concerns, and follow-up actions clearly.
• High standards of discretion, confidentiality, and ethics.
