Dispatcher

American Iron & Metal (AIM) is looking for a Dispatcher to join our logistics team. In this role, you'll work closely with drivers, customers, scale operators, and yard personnel to keep material moving safely and efficiently. This is a fast-paced position that requires strong communication, organization, and the ability to adjust quickly when priorities change. What You'll Be Responsible For: • Scheduling and dispatching drivers to meet customer and operational needs. • Handling customer service calls and coordinate pickups and deliveries. • Communicating daily with drivers, scale operators, and yard teams. • Monitoring routes, schedules, and driver hours to ensure DOT compliance. • Tracking incoming and outgoing loads and maintain accurate records. • Providing drivers with job information, site details, and material instructions. • Helping resolve scheduling issues, service concerns, and other day-to-day operational challenges.
