Job description

As a Maintenance Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring our buildings, grounds, and properties are consistently maintained to the highest standards. This position is responsible for coordinating and performing a wide range of maintenance services to keep all facilities safe, functional, and in excellent condition. In this role, you will oversee and complete maintenance, repair, and remodeling work related to electrical systems, carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, and painting. You will also work closely with the Maintenance Supervisor to coordinate outside contractors when specialized repairs or additional support are needed. Success in this position requires strong time management, organization, and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines across several locations. Maintenance Engineers can expect to travel between 2–4 sites per day on average. Occasional personal vehicles be required for work-related travel as needed. Mileage reimbursement is provided when a personal vehicle is used for business purposes. Required (Must-Have): • High school diploma or GED • 2+ years of building maintenance experience (heating, plumbing, electrical, general repair) • Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, auto insurance Physical Requirements: • Ability to lift and carry tools and materials • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repairs throughout the workday Skills & Abilities: • Strong decision-making, communication, and professionalism • Ability to work independently or on a team • Ability to identify cost-effective, preventative maintenance solutions • Drywall repair experience • Carpentry skills We believe in supporting not only those we serve but also each other, ensuring a collaborative and supportive work environment for all.
